Morning Chris Taylor, You have an igniter/burner coil inside your system that has to be functioning properly to have good combustion going inside the coils of your heater unit (very bottom). May 01, 2016. I have one too and what I do is: turn all 3 switches on and while I'm waiting for the 'ready' light to come on I go ahead and pour the milk into my frothing pitcher and prep my espresso basket.
After the 'ready' light comes on I install my espresso basket and turn the handle to the 'left' so no liquid starts coming out. Next, I take an empty coffee cup and hold it under the steam nozzle and start opening the steam valve until I get only steam instead of a stream of hot water. Once you have steam, close the valve, put your pitcher of milk under the steamer and froth as usual to around 150 degrees. Jan 21, 2010. Try to fill the machine from somewhere else. You can do this from the outlet. If you manage to do this, put on the machine. ( now you know that when there is hot water in the machine, the tap goes round free for safety). Now as the water starts to cool down.start trying to see if you can unscrew it. My plan is that with the hot water, the safety will start to work again.

If the cap does not release the safety on cooling, then there is no other way but to destroy the cap and replace with a new one. Very important to mention that this job must be done by a qualified technician or some one who knows what he is doing. Working with hot water is very dangerous. Regards, Fulltech.
